On iPad so this should be short .. After a year i enjoy my bikes more with each ride still.

Things I'm still doing that surprises me..

No spandex -
Still using platform pedals and liking it
Underarmor long sleeve shirts for riding and work..fantastic
Northface convertible pants for riding and work.. Comfy in both places.
Still running jb's and dyno hub
That the bike feels quick and decends so well

See I kept it short... So please don't post a 68cm Atlantis, redwood or any other bike that fits me for sale.

We all ride differently .. Like different things.. But I don't do anything just to do it.. It has to be better for me.
All of the above has been more comfortable, and enabling me to ride more, longer and with a bigger smile on my face.

Note my wife likes her clipless pedals, spandex, narrow rolly pollys and lack of a kickstand, and no dyno making the Roadeo a one trick pony..hell she only has a itty bitty rear bag sheesh lol. That's ok she has the Atlantis with lights and kickstand and bag.

Anyway I'm not trying to say my way is better for anyone but me and to make it clear that it works well.
My AHH and Bomba with Change of riding style returned the joy of riding to me...I'm guessing at 4 to 5k this year.

Have a great one

--BMX pedals (even on my singlespeed racing bike). Current model
choices include Redline low-rise, Shimano (older style, no longer
made) and Crank Bros 5050XX (2010 model).
--Chrome Kursk [non-spd] shoes: yes, they're a little overpriced for
where they're made and if I had to pay full pop for them I wouldn't.
But at cost-plus-ten they're not a bad shoe at all. Very comfortable
after a short break-in period, and excellent for my skinny yardstick
feet.
--Wool sweaters with zip-fronts
--RBW Splats. A near-perfect solution to wet shoes, though water still
gets in the tops a little in heavy rains.
--Rainlegs: perfect for short rides in light rain. Use with splats.
--26" wheels; I hardly ever ride my original Rivvy (700c) anymore. All
my other bikes -- the All-Rounder, the Big Dummy and the Monocog
(racing bike) all have mountain bike wheels and they just work, all
the time. No noticable difference in rolling resistance (and frankly
all that hooh-hah about rolling resistance has begun to bore me). I'm
giving it another year and if this sentiment doesn't chance I may put
up the original Rivvy for sale. We'll see.

Was the switch to 26" wheels deliberate or happenstance? FWIW, I've found in the 559X32 mm Kojacks a very nice alternative to the ditto Paselas, which gave me a lot of flats and seemed very sensitive to pressure (and which had delicate sidewalls). Not sure if, were I to do it all over again, I would choose 26" for my road bikes but, having done so, don't have many regrets. But I'm a 29er convert and the Fargo is the bee's knees. My dream would be a Legolas that takes 3" wide tires.
