WTB: 7/8-speed FD, 31.8 clamp

Super specific, I know. Need for Clem, I don't like narrow cages on wider chains so the Shimano 10 derailer I have now won't cut it.

I've got a new SLX 9 spd front for sale (FD-M667).  It's compact and was designed to shift 2X (i.e. 36T and 22T).  I'm asking $27 but I can ship it to you for $25 if you think it can work.  See attached pic.

Hi Joe,

I definitely have an 8spd era FD not currently in use but forget if any were 31.8 (28.6 yes and 34.9 yes, though latter are 9spd I think… just forgetting if I still have a spare 31.8 sized clamp.)  I will try to dig out the spare parts box to see in case the current offers don’t work out.  

Bottom pull I assume you need for the Clem but any  particular preference for top swing or bottom swing?  Pretty sure it’s my 34.9 XT 9sp silver that’s top swing/high mount with bottom pull.  A black LX is what I think I have from 8spd era but can’t remember the remaining details right now but will soon verify.

Hope it all comes together either way!

Nevermind, please disregard.  Just looked through my derailer box and fronts have dwindled down to a few 28.6 (including the black LX I was picturing) and the above mentioned 34.9 XT m751.  31.8 options are limited to those currently in use.
