The brake arms should just transfer from the normal mounting plate with pivot posts to a set of brazed on posts. I have not done it with Weinmanns
But Rene Herse did it all the time. Here's an example from 1969

but did the same thing with Mafac Competitions without problem. I have 36 mm Honjo alloy fenders on the bike and there is another 7 mm of space on either side between the fender and the pivot bolt location. My seat stays are the conventional, flat plate style that attach to the side of the seat tube lug. Narrow types like shot in stays will narrow the fender space.

If you remove the rear mounting plat, can these be used with the Dia Compe braze-ons brazed on a new fork/frame???
Does anyone known the maximum fender width these can take?? I was thinking of using 50mm Berthoud SS fenders
