I may need to sell my 53cm Bleriot.  What has been the going rate? I am not sure what to ask for it. It would be complete with standard mid-level Riv parts. I can list out what it has if that is helpful or if someone is interested in it.

That would be helpful because parts make a diff.

I have seen complete Bleriots for between $850 USA and 1500$ USA online over the past 6 months in various builds.

It has a Sugino crank Shimano LX RD, Shimano FD (I forget the specific part number I will look it up), Nitto Tech stem, Nitto Mark's Bar, Shimano bar ends, Shimano brake levers.  The wheels are the Budget 650B set that RIvendell used to sell and it has ColdeVie tires.  FOr more details I would need to look at the build sheet. It was bought and "mostly" built up at the the Country Bike Shop.

I would probably be looking at keeping the saddle (because it has been broken in for me which makes it nice for me and probably not for others) and maybe the pedals but they are cheap sneaker pedals.

I was hoping to get around $1100 plus shipping. It's in fantastic shape. No issues that I can see at all.

I bought a 61cm frame/fork/headset/BB in essentially NOS shape for $675 a couple of years ago.  eBay.

I bought a used 61cm Bleriot last September at a bike store for $1249 Canadian which looked like it had never been riden.  In fact I thought it was so cheap and in such good condition that I couldn't pass it up.  Came with everything that Grant had  in mind for it.   Compete with Shimano 105 triple cranks, 11-32 9 speed cassette, Nitto technomic deluxe quil stem and Nitto bars, Tektro r556 brakes, Velocity Synergy rims with Shimano Deore 32 hole hubs , Shimano bar end shifters,  Grand Bois Hetre tyres and fenders and Brooks Professional saddle.

So maybe yours is a bit low at $1100.

John

I would think $1100 is a little too low. Personally I would be looking to recoup the replacement price of the frame. The new buyer would be getting the complete bike already built-up for the price of the frameset alone. -Ricky
