I am offering up my 53cm Bleriot for sale. It is in very good condition. There might be a nick or two in the paint somewhere but I would need to inspect closely to find it.  It has been very well taken care of and not ridden too often.  It is built up with the following items from the Rivendell store:

- Nitto Tech Stem
- Nitto Mark's Bar - Cloth tape w/ Shellac
- Shimano Brake Levers
- Shimano bar end shifters
- Sugino Crank
- Tektro Brakes
- Shimano Soma FD
- Shimano Deore RD
- IRD Bottom Bracket
- 650 Wheels w/ Shimano Deore hubs and Twin Hollow rims
- Col de le Vie TIres.

I would like to keep the saddle and pedals.  I took the kickstand off but can include that. It's a Greenfield kickstand and it has been wrapped and shellaced. I also took off the fender but can include those.  They are the SKS silver fenders.

Like I said this is very low miles and very well taken care of.  I do lots of my own maintenance but also take it past the shop at the beginning of every season.  The wheels were just trued last year.

I would like $1200 total including the shipping and Paypal fees.  That also includes professional boxing at the local bike shop.  Shipping will be handled by Fedex ground.  Price can be negotiated a little if using the Paypal gift option.  As it stands after boxing shipping and fees the actual sale price of the bike is a little over $1000.  It looks like the last one sold on ebay for about $1300 shipped. I would much rather keep it here if at all possible.  If someone has a nice Bridgestone MB or RB they would like to trade plus cash I might be interested but I do need the money right now or else it would be staying.

Wow! Very nice bike!
I hope it sells quickly for you.

I have a 55 Bleriot with a double crank. A triple like yours has would feel great on the hills around here.
Someone is gonna be happy.

There tends to be a fair share of hills around here and it does come in handy.

I am in the central PA area and test rides are totally cool if you are in the area.

Where are you (and the bike) located?  Are you open to test rides?

It's up on ebay right now but I would really prefer to sell it on here if possible as I know it would be going to someone that would appreciate it.  It has been on ebay only 24 hours and it has over 60 watchers. I have never had that many watchers before on anything.

I will happily end the auction if someone her wants it.

Asking for a friend, but alas, she's located in Boston.  Great price for a great bike - hope you find a buyer soon!

On ebay sadly. I am going to look for a Bridgestone RB to hold me over until I have enough for a new rivendell. I am either going to get a new rodeo or a used Rambouillet. At least that is the plan.
