Hi all! I’m sorry to be selling my 62cm SimpleOne due to an imminent move to a smaller place. It’s recently been refurbished and rebuilt with a brand new headset, bottom bracket, brakes, and more. Here’s the build list:
Frame: 62cm SimpleOne frame and fork
Bottom Bracket: Velo Orange
Headset: Velo Orange
Brake Levers: IRD Cafam
Brakes: Dia-Compe DC980 cantilevers
Stem: Nitto Technomic 10cm
Handlebar: Velo Orange Porteur w/ Soma bar extenders
Grips: Oury V2
Seatpost: Nitto Crystal Fellow
Crankset: Sugino/Riv XD2 Wide/Low with Guard
Pedals: Plastic Clem Smith
Saddle: Not Included
Wheelset: Standard (I think Suzue) track hubs laced to 32H Open Pro rims
Fenders: SKS Bluemels B55
Everything pictured is included except the saddle and coffee cup valve caps. I’m open to selling w/o the bars for those who want to use their own (I’ll knock 50 bucks off w/o). The frame definitely has the beausage of a daily commuter that’s been locked up. But no dents or other major issues. All areas where the paint has been chipped off have been regularly treated with clear nail polish to prevent rust. Photos here (I’ll upload some beausage closeups tomorrow):

It’s been my favorite Rivendell and was my commuter for a while. But since I no longer really commute by bike and have been riding my Rambouillet, I don’t really use it anymore.
Asking $1100 (1000 + 100 for my LBS to pack the bike) plus shipping costs. If you can pick up locally in Philly, I’ll sell it for $1000 even. Tnly things not included are the saddle and coffee cup valve caps. The rear fender (and all hardware) is also included, I just haven’t gotten around to installing it yet.
