Finished Hunqapillar Build

It's a gently used 56 cm 650b I picked up in December from a list member. I sold my Sam H. and a '93 XO-2 to fund the frameset. I'm down to this, a Quickbeam and an'94 XO-3 and my Gary Fisher tandem. My wife has the Rosco Bubbaloosa mixte. Feel to ask build questions.

Are those one of the WTB 47mm tires and if so, did you measure the stand-over?  I think I'm just on the cusp of fitting a 56 (versus a 53) Hunqapillar.

Beautiful bike! I've always like the green on the Hunq. I also have a Tubus Tara on my Sam--I wish the Riv forks had mounts in the right place to fit it without an adapter.

One build question--what is that bottle mount for on the downtube? Never seen anything like it.

And I see a ton of bikes in the background! Wish I had that kind of space...actually, it's probably better that I don't.

Sweet 1x drivetrain! I’m building up my wife’s Clementine as a 1x and have been puzzling out how to figure her chainring. Is yours a 32 or 34? or am I off? (the answer may be yes to both!) Grin.

It’s hard to beat a stable with a QB and Hunqa in it!

Yes those are wtb byways. I rode the old 54 hunq at Riv years back and loved it and wished it were bigger. I didn't measure standover, and I never have, but my pbh was measured at Riv at 88. This bike feels really good.

On top of the downtube is a Blackburn cargo cage, on bottom is a pdw owl cage.

The drivetrain is a 36t wolf tooth drop stop front ring, xt 10 speed 11/36 cassette and an ultegra mid cage derailer.  I hate setting up front derailleurs and I live in the second flattest state in the union so I'm covered for gearing both here and beyond.  

I bought a sunrace 9 speed 11-40 cassette for my wife's bike and did the whole turkey vulture thing except with a stick shift front.  I

Very nice.  How does the high handlebar bag (high, as opposed to one that sits lower down on a front rack) affect your Hunq's handling?  I found that it made mine surprisingly squirrelly.

I have only ridden it to tune it. So nothing to report on handling yet. I have a handle bar bag on most bikes I own and I have never experienced handling issues. Maybe because the bags are on the smaller side and I only keep necessities that I need at arm's reach in them.
