Blue Lug shop tour

I thought this video tour of Blue Lug would be of interest to the group. I could spend hours in that shop! Unfortunately he isn't familiar with Rivendell, so he didn't fawn over them.

I think the narrator thought Frank Jones was a framebuilder and Platypus was a brand! Fun to revisit the place, especially when I'm not sure they'd let us back in the country right now. Blue Lug was probably the coolest bike shop I think I've ever been to. It was farther out than I expected but I knew I was getting close as I emerged from my walk through Yoyogi Park and saw a Clem H locked up outside of a cafe. Their selection was impressive and the people were so nice. I wish I had been more prepared with a bag plan. Will said they have their own bag shop and their bags are really innovative and beautiful with great fabrics. I was interested in several but couldn't be sure if they'd work for me. Probably should have picked up one of their basket totes. They seem to have changed it on their website and I liked the old design better (more like the one at 1:58 in the video). All I could think to buy was a t shirt and get my photo taken in the sign. When they found out I ride a Riv, they loaded me with cool stickers. Blue Lug Hatagaya is must see for any cyclist (especially Riv) that goes to Tokyo. Thanks for sharing the video link.
