I think Ron / Bené / Ultraromance's entire bike collection would be my top ten beautiful bicycles of 2019, a portion of which are Rivs. That said, there are some impressive modern bikes there too. One thing I cannot find attractive is a straight-blade steel fork though.

Love the Radavist! They've had exceptional coverage of the Philly Bike Expo bike builders. Ron's Atlantis is the bomb!

I dig the Radavist and vist there often, but this list left me scratching my head a little, Ronnie's Atlantis is pretty cool, but to ten cool? There's been some incredibly cool bike this year, but some on this list? Well . . . Maybe there's something else going on here then just functionality or aesthetics? The Black Mountain is cool, but top10 cool? The Evil? It looks OK, but everything else about it makes me say "WHY?"

Matt's Crust is awesome, but I think the Bombora & the new Scapegoat were incredible Too! No Sklar's? Really?

Standout on the list to me was the Black Cat.

is ultraromance really a "Rivendell sponsored rider"?

In the intro blurb, they laid out their criteria for the top bikes: so many comments, so many page views, so many links, and big production bikes were excepted.

Hmmm, I think a Specialized Sequoia is about as big as you can get.

And actually I misspoke because there is a Sklar in there. It just doesn't have the swoopy tubes one associates with Sklar.

I have to say that the Atlantis, the WWPWD, and the Tracklcross, just maybe, maybe, the Black Cat, are pretty bikes, but the others -- meh. They may be outstanding bikes, but IMO they don't have outstanding looks.

But of the 3 or 5 "pretty" ones, I have to say that the Atlantis stands head and shoulders higher; I don't particularly want a double top tube on any bike I own, curved or straight, but no one can deny that's a pretty frame.
