I've recently done the Nitto Mini Front installation on Sam Hillborne
(700C wheel). Based on your picture, it doesn't look too far off to
me.
I did have to bend the struts by hand for it to fit (note that the
center strut is a lot easier to bend than the support ones on the
sides). Just make sure not to let the rack sit too low. I ran into
problems later with fender installation. The rack was sitting too low
and the light mount at the front was interfering with the curvature of
the fender. I eventually had to re-bend the struts and raise the rack
a bit. Let me know if you need some pictures. I can try to take a
few when I get some time.

The pictures might not show it well enough but if I bend the struts down, they will move away from the braze-on since they will move in an arc. I'll probably just put the rack on my XO instead. Maybe I'll buy the Mark's Rack from Riv or maybe another one that mounts to the canti bosses. The bike was built for 26" wheels, btw.
