A sort of longish post about a recent SoCal bike adventure.

You can read about it here.

Cheers,

Hugh,
Wow, that seems like a great trip. Your prose and photographs made me feel I was along for the ride- which some day I'd like to be!
Thanks for sharing,
Erl

Erl,

I will ride with you. It may be a C&O tour or a Texas ramble but we will ride.

Thank you for your kind words. In my haste to publish there are things I need to yet tighten up. Like including a link to Curtis's images.

Warm Regards,

~Hugh

Beautiful desert, Hugh! There is something quintessential about riding in the various, distinct landscapes of desert, mountains, cañons, prairie, and woods, and you captured the desert wonderfully!

With abandon,

Hi Jon,

I'm really glad you enjoyed the post, it means a lot. I know ride reports are my favorite posts, I love to see what others are doing around the country. I don't read all and I regret that and hope to read more trip/ride reports into the future. I particularly enjoy the images you and Deacon Patrick post from Colorado. I used to have Patrick's Flickr feed but he discontinued it, what a bummer!

Warm Regards,

~Hugh

Hugh,

I'll have to hit you up for a ride guide or recommendation when I meander thru (or possibly past) LA with a bike later this year.
The juxtaposition of LA sprawl and its wilderness environs is pretty interesting.

Anytime. It would be my pleasure. Downtown is pretty interesting to ride as well.
