Hello, Anybody know the grip length on this particular multi-hand position handlebar? Seems like more and more of the alt-handlebars don't have a long grip length to spread out the grip, brake lever and thumb shifter positions. Thanks.

Hi Paul,
Roughly 19cm from the ends to the welds. I also like to get my brake lever a pretty long ways away from the grip and didn’t have an issue. Fwiw, I’d be glad to sell you mine if you’re in the market.

If you get one, I'd love to hear your impressions as I've been looking at this bar too.  As far as spreading out the controls, I assumed you could mount the shifters on the forward extension, kind of like Jones did with the early "H" bars  before they became a full loop.  That would probably help free up some grip area.

My thinking was to mount all the controls on the grip part of the handlebar and ideally leave the forward extensions free for an alternate hand position. This would we give you at least 3 different positions for your hands- on the grips, on the forward extensions and on the bar beside the stem.

Thanks for the offer of the Siskiyou bars Mack but I went with Soma Fabrications Labor Day sale (20% off) on their Steve Potts inventory.
