I'm not sure who put it together. @whatbars popped up on Instagram, a fella named Chip... the last post stated that there are several companies sending him info so he can add bars to the database.

There was a good discussion of the tool and its development on the internet-bob list.  The admin there created a pinned posting so that this kind of effort could be noted, saved and referenced.

Hey! I'm Chip, the creator of whatbars.com.

I'm currently in talks with a few manufacturers including Crust, Oddity, On-One, Origin8, Soma and Velo Orange to get drawings of their bars to provide more accurate comparisons, hopefully the rest will follow suit and will eliminate any inconsistencies.

Hey Erl,

The good people of Rivendell recently send me update graphics for all of their handlebars and they were updated in the last few days. They asked me to clarify that these were Riv bars made by nitto by updating the handlebar names to the "Rivendell Albastache", "Rivendell Albatross, etc etc.

You will also find a few more of their bars updated there. Hope that helps!
