What is the saddle height in the photos of the Bruce Gordon? Where in the country are these bikes located? Are they in California?

A few additional details :

I also have a Nitto Campee 32F mini front rack that fits the Protovelo if anyone would prefer a smaller front rack option.

The Bruce Gordon also has a painted to match Campagnolo frame pump, I just completely forgot to mount it before taking photos.

What is the max width tire the Bruce Gordon will accept?

Thanks,

That protovelo is so great. Really happy it’s too big for me.

EDIT: The Bruce Gordon currently has Grand Bois "Cerf" 26s.
I have had both 28s and 30s on it in the past. 30s are probably the max.

This is probably the frame that convinced me to try clear powdercoats. I love the look, but the visible creeping rust had me start using colors after a few years. Steve

your photos of rivendells, and of this bike in particular. were definitely the gateway to a serious riv addiction for me. this protovelo is such a special and unique bike.
i don't have anything against the new direction of riv offerings, but there's something very magical and nostalgic to me about this era of rivendell.

What year is the Gordon? I bought one about a year ago that looks SO similar, color and all. Mine was built in Dec 1978. For whatever it is worth to others, that bike is incredible to ride. It just goes where you want it to go. It almost seems to anticipate where you want to go.

This is 1983 Bruce Gordon. The ride is phenomenal.  I really hate to see it go, but I've got some riv goals :)
