I rode them for about 2,300 miles on a 650B conversion and liked them quite well overall. Not as cushy as Pari-Moto or Hetres, but tough and reliable over coarse chipseal. Enough air in them to ease those nasties. I definitely prefer them to the Nifty-Swifty, which is more durable but less compliant. The ride very similarly to the G.B. Cypres in my experience, but are a bit more rugged.

Hi all,
I am considering some Maxy Fastys for a 650b conversion. They seem to get little press lately with all of the new offerings, but had some mixed reviews in the past. I love my Jack Brown Greens, so I think they will be great. Can you share some experience?

I have Maxty Fasty's on my wife's 1950 Claud Butler Mixte that I converted to 650b (the mixte was originally designed for 26 x 1 1/4 wheels).

I actually ride the bike more than my wife does.  She rides SS, while I ride fixed gear.  The Maxty Fastys feel great - light, cushy, and speedy.

Yes, there're not as cushy as the Hetres, but they eat up Chicago potholes just as good.
