The Sam has been rolling since summer 2024 so I'm surprised it didn't happen earlier but the bike got its inaugural paint chip last week. Sure there'll be more to comeif ny other bikes are any indication.

I know, it's a relief to have the bike starting to get used in and not have that new bike feel anymore.

Do the right thing Leah, the Grant thing. Put a dollop of pink nail polish on it!

Yes, Joe, I will for sure. Ryan - kept it pretty pristine for over 4 years. Bound to happen. Oh well.

I got quite a few scratches on my Platy, shown here touched up with nail polish , when it fell over when I was leaning it against the disabled ramp at the train station. Totally unnecessary, as I already had a kickstand, but hadn’t deployed it, bike was leaning against its drive side pedal and slipped.

This happened when I had only had the bike three months.

See? We’re all gonna be ok. Scratches and all.
