There I was, just seconds after 3:00 pm Pacific Daylight Time. It took but a few minutes to complete my order for a 57 cm yellow bike. Now let's see how long it takes for delivery.
Did anyone else succumb to the need for a new bike? This will be my first new bike since 1990 or so. Anticipation is growing.
[And, yes, I changed my earlier mind. I went with a 57 cm Yellow instead of  59 cm "L-o.]

I did! I waffled pretty hard for the last week but ultimately succumbed. I absolutely do NOT need another bike, but I don't have a "stepover," which is the flimsy justification I needed to pull the trigger. The quality of the build for the price won me over!

Leroy, not me.:(  But, congrats! Whereabouts in SE Michigan? I am in Toledo. Most of my riding is across the state line 300’ into Michigan.:)

Not I!

Close to $3,000 after shipping and taxes, I couldn't justify it. Maybe I'll do a frame up build of a clem or a platypus later this year. I really do wish they sold it as just a frameset, I have a lot of extra parts laying around.

I have a Charlie Gallop coming and a Platy already, so I resisted the calls of a yellow bike. My spouse, however, succumbed. She had everything added to her cart so she could check out at 3:01....

Hello,
Yes, I purchased one as a gift for my wife. 53cm, Marks rack, Brooks and some burnt orange bar tape.
Excited!

I got one for my wife as well. We've been looking for a step through with wide tire clearance and the yellowolley showed up at just the right time!

After two plus years of Platy fandom, I realized a new Ana Purple Platy complete would likely never be available again. While being right with Grant regarding the “cheap bike vibe” of a yellow bike, all things considered, I surprised myself and ordered my first & last Riv and couldn’t be more excited.

The sales are not feeding-frenzy crazy.  I'd buy a 57, and tried to put 100 in my cart in the early afternoon yesterday, and the system allowed me to put 25 in there.  I tried again Wednesday night and the number had gone down to 24.  Today it's 23.  So I still have time...  Like others, I don't need another bike.  I also really don't have space for another bike.  Hypothetically, the YelloWolleY could replace both my RoadUno and my Charlie H Gallop.  If I could wave a magic wand and make those two bikes become a YelloWolleY and make $2000 appear in my pocket, that would be a decent swap and would reduce my bike fleet by 1.  Just like multi-team trades in the NBA, it would take a lot of work to orchestrate it.

Not so magical if you sold the Charlie and Roaduno, mind you...but would you do that?
