Out of the box, but still in a yoga position.
Now it's a bike (some assembly and a bit of grease and anti-seize required).
Immediately thereafter, the bike escaped the basement and Ellen did some tentative riding, to permit adjustment of saddle and handlebar height (both lowered). She also discovered that V-brakes aren't like the other children, but no harm done (I think). Still to be added are lights, a bell, a water bottle cage, and a saddlebag, and likely a set of Compass Naches Pass Extralights. We'll take a shake-down cruise together tomorrow.

Thanks, that explains some anomalous behavior of the saddle horn. I was moving fast, and missed it.
