Not only is it April - it's April Fool's Day, so perhaps it is fitting that I kick off this month's photo thread.  Whatever...here's a few from western North Carolina:

I had off from work today! And it’s great weather for riding. Here’s the Atlantis before changing things up on it (Silver OM-1’s came in the other day, just waiting on the 165mm crankset). It’s a Good Friday!

Got out for a good ride in the woods with some friends yesterday aboard the Bombadil. We hiked up to some old growth but left the bikes behind for that portion

Those are some sweet trails in the forest.  Question (for anyone), if you were to ride from your house to the best trails in your area, how many KM/Miles of trails like this do you have, that are continuous or have short, paved/gravel road connections?  I can stitch about 10-15km together, making for a roughly 30km loop (with lots of short paved bits).  If I had endless km's of such trails, I would be in heaven.

My photo isn't capturing the vibe of my ride yesterday, I simply stopped at my 1/2 way point and snapped the photo to show my new 105 brifters and Ergon BT Gravel bar tape.  I was having issues with my hands as of late (using DT shifters and Tektro brake levers, which in many ways I absolutely love) so I wanted a larger lever/brifter for my hands and some more padded tape so when my wrist is sometimes resting on the ramp of the bar, it was better cushioned.  4 rides - 0 pain :-)
