Hi Group,

I don't think I've seen a post on the best of your images from 2015. So let's see your culled images.

Sorry to hear Deacon Patrick closed his Flickr account because of certain tootsie fetishes.

Here's my submission.

And here's hoping 2016 exceeds 2015.

Great photos, Hugh!

It must've been hard to cull them down to just 15, given your adventures this past year, but each passing year allows for one more picture to include!

Here's my 15:

Bob,

Thanks, yes it was difficult but as you say this year it'll be 16.

Great images Bob don't know how I missed some of these through the year. I love the coffeeneuring and train platform images.

Have a healthy and  adventurous '16.

Great images Patrick!

Glad to see you have a new way to wrangle your images. As always I'm startled by the amazing territory you get to ride in and the extremes.

Thanks for sharing. May '16 be an even better year for you and your family.

I always love seeing these. Here's my culled images from 2015.  They end at about the time of my first of two knee replacements in early August.  I hope to start riding and shooting in '16 soon.          https://www.flickr.com/photos/cnyriv/albums/72157662817561380

More very good photos; thanks (all y'all) for posting them.

I can offer none of my own, but I can offer 2 media sets by others that seem not too out of place:

1. Jobst's 2001 alpine tour (Jobst would have been 66 on that ride):

2. And now for something completely different: this from (I am embarrassed to say) Jalopnik:

I like this exercise in reviewing the year. Only about half of mine are biking related, and some aren't even photos, really.

It's fun to see pics from other folk's rides, including the scenery, the bikes and the people
and sometimes I get ideas from them.

Thanks for sharing them.

Most of my riding is in the urban and suburb areas of Dallas, TX

As a result most of my photos come from this area with an occasional
ride in a country road setting.
This area does have a lot of interesting sculptures, various outside art and architecture if one knows where to look.

As I have aged I take more time to stop and snap a pic or ten.
As cell phone cameras have gotten better I pretty much rely of it these days.
I think just about all of these are taken with my S5 Samsung phone.

I linked my favs from 2015 in a story format on photobucket.

Paul,

I gotta say you do a great job showcasing the Dallas area. I particularly like that country grocery store and the Trek 7000. Between you and Pondero visiting Texas has a greater pull. Have a great 2016 and keep snapping a pic or 10.

Hi James,

Of particular note is the cyclist have a smoke on a rest break. I recall seeing old TDF images with racers having a smoke, apparently it was believed to help their breathing. They were looking for any edge they could get. I love that Tapei has a Italian bike fetish. It's great to see cyclists from other parts of the world. Have a great 2016 and thanks for the share.

Great set Mark!

Such contrast between green, green spring to winter rides. You definitely set the bar high on locations, grit and quality of images. And you included the OOB images very sweet. I won't mention the other unofficial moniker that iteration of the OOB acquired. Looking forward to your 2016 adventures for inspiration.
