While showing off my Sackville at work and lamenting the fact that the bags were no longer named Baggins he responded "Sackvilles are from Middle Earth too, they were the rivals of the Baggins."

So both names are pretty awesome!

Also a great name, true, but Lobelia Sackville was odious.The Sackville bags are more high-toned than the Bagginses, so that's a satisfying parallel.
