Hi gang -
Now that I've determined that Clem Smith pedals are what all of my bikes wanted, I have a rather large collection of pedals that are otherwise going to collect dust. So, I'm planning to take them to the Milwaukee Bicycle Collective on Saturday, but before I do that I want to give my pals here a first shot. Almost all of them are in used condition, some very used, others "pretty" used. Unless otherwise noted. It's way too much to photograph or even list individually. If there's something that you think you want, send me a private message and we'll talk. I'm planning to otherwise give it all away (to a good cause, if they want them), so I'm not looking to make any money here.
Ok, here's what we have:
- a giant collection of Shimano SPD pedals.
- One MTB set (Deore level, I'd guess),
- Four road sets (3 Ultegra level and 1 Dura Ace level .. reminder, SPD, not SPD-R)
- Countless dual-sided (cage one side, binding other side)
- an almost as large collection of Egg Beaters
- basic ones ranging from lowest level to fairly spiffy (but no Ti - those are still on my Riv Road)
- Two pairs of Egg-Beaters road pedals .... best used with their specific cleat holders ... if you know, you know
- One pair of well used Campy Daytona pedals with cleats
- One pair of not-much-used MKS Mapstage pedals. By far and away the most secure binding system other than the one-off customs that Pino made for Grant. Real knee-wreckers if you crash. Another one of those if you know, you know...
- One pair of pretty-much-as-new VO Urban Platform pedals. I haven't tried these with my Lems, yet, so I might end up keeping them. I tried them with other shoes and without the half-clips didn't find enough traction on them.
- One pair of MKS touring Lite
- One pair of MKS Sylvan touring
(Saved the best for last to reward those who read all the way down.)
