Have you always wanted a Quickbeam? This orange size 56 QB has great components and is priced to sell. I purchased it used from a list member in 2016. I’ve ridden it lightly since then, mainly as a townie/errand bike with a small rack and front basket. As anyone who has ridden one will tell you, it is a super-fun ride. The Bosco Bullmoose bars are great for leverage. Has beausage appropriate for its age, including paint chips and scratches, some covered with nail polish. The decal on the downtube is deteriorating. Lots of pictures here.
Price depends on options, described below.
$1250 (net to me) for the bike complete as shown, minus pedals, saddle, and seatpost, and plus shipping (or free local pickup). This includes the following:
Bosco Bullmoose Handlebars 54
Misha Cork Grips with shellack
Tektro Brake Levers
Front brakes– Paul neo-retro cantis
Rear brakes– Paul touring cantis
Crankset: Sugino triple 170 with chain guard-40-32
Wheels: polished SunRims CR 18 with Paul high flange black hubs and DT black spokes
White Industries Dos Eno freewheel 17/19 (red) and Miche Technology (made in Italy) 16 tooth fixed on the flip side. These have worked great in my hilly neighborhood.
Tires: Compass 700-32 Stampede Pass (lots of life left in them)
Saddle and seatpost – not included. It takes a 27.2 seat post.
If there’s not interest in it as shown, I can offer some flexibility to reduce the price. I love the Bosco bullmoose handlebars so if you are planning a different cockpit, I will reduce the price by $150 if we exclude handlebars, brake levers, and grips.
For boxing and shipping, I will pay to have it professionally packed by my LBS, a bike flights partner. Buyer to arrange and pay for the shipping / insurance directly with bike flights, who will pick up the bike from my LBS.
