Up for sale is my 58cm Rivendell Atlantis. Owned since spring of 2014. Located in Canada, but will ship to the USA.

Pretty sad to sell it, but it's always been just a hair under-sized for my tastes. If it was a 61cm, I'd keep it for life. Easily the best bike I've ever owned, but that won't be news to any Riv owners here :)

I believe this is a Toyo built frame based on the round lug style. Second owner I believe.

I rode the bike year-round and toured throughout Washington and Oregon on the back roads, so there are typical paint scratches, and that annoying all-too-common paint damage from dropped chains, but no dents or anything like that.

One thing to note - my front, right-side lower fender eyelette requires a nut on the back. It always has since I bought it. The threads weren't in good shape, so I asked Riv what they suggested - Either tap it to the next size up, or throw a bolt on the back. I like keeping everything 'stock' so I put a bolt on it and it's been 100% trouble free since. You could easily tap it for the next size imperial bolt if you wanted, but why bother in my opinion. This works perfectly.

Frame was treated with rust inhibitor on the inside when I bought it, and there is no sign of rust in there.

Frame, Fork, Ultegra headset.

I also have Paul Touring canti brakes, a Phil Wood 119mm BB (that's what you need if you run White Industries VBC cranks), and some other small goodies available.

Hi Ryan,

I've actually already bought a replacement frame, but not a Riv. It just took too long to find a 61, and I can't afford a new one at this point. I bought a Crust Romanceur.

Ya, I guess the stack and reach between the 61cm Atlantis and the XL Romanceur are just about identical. Only the SO is higher on the crust.  If it was a bit lower I'd definitely be tempted by one. Not that I need another bike.  And honestly, My Appaloosa does all that I could hope for and I haven't managed to find a criticism of it yet.

I'd love to see how you built up the Romanceur. You can post pics on the iBob list, so as not to get too far off topic here, haha.

I'll be sure to share photos. But first, I've got to find a new home for the Atlantis!

+1. I've enjoyed reading the epic very cold winter ride reports on the Atlantis that Mark was posting for a while. The Romanceur with its 26" wheels should be suitable for even greater adventures.

Any detailed photos of the frame available?

The bike has sold! I didn't find a buyer on the Riv list unfortunately, but who knows maybe they'll become one.

I'll be selling off a few of the parts the buyer didn't want in the coming days too.

Nope. It's going state-side. I think California actually, so it's going home hah!

Don't worry, when you see my new bike rolling around I'm sure it'll satisfy...
