For the Bagman support, how much open saddle rail space is required to mount behind the seatpost clamp ?  Metric millimeters would be great.

In regards to the SQR mount, how much space is required for the block itself on the seatpost, and how tall overall is the block ?

In regards to the bags for the Bagman, what prevents the contents drooping from sides of the bags , and does the bag move around much when out of the saddle with lots of lateral motion ?

I have this question too -- I was just looking at the Carradice quick-release last week and saw that there wasn't room on my saddle rails before they started angling, to mount the support, because my saddle (B17) is a little bit forward of the usual placement. I'd have to move the saddle back, and I'm already perhaps a touch stretched out (at 5'11 1/2", on my 58-cm Homer, with the shortest Technomic stem (50mm) and drop bars just a smidgeon higher than the saddle). Guy at the shop said we'd need to move the saddle back perhaps a centimetre, which I was a bit reluctant to do, or get a zero-setback seat post, which feels like too big a change. So instead I was looking at Riv's shiny rear rack to support a saddle bag (so I could use paniers too, when I wanted). And during the day when I looked, they were still in stock, but by the evening when I decided I'd go ahead and order one, they were out of stock!

Now I'm wondering if once the saddle is moved back enough for the Bagman support to be mounted, the saddle can be pushed back again. Probably not.

I had to go out and measure the saddle setup to answer the question.  The Bagman clamp itself is about 15mm wide, so it will use up that amount of saddle rail space.  I took a pic of it mounted on the lower rail of a Brooks Flyer (basically a sprung B17).  The Bagman clamp is back as far as it can go before the saddle rail begins to widen.

As for the "drooping", I'm not sure if you're referring to the way the small side pockets slant forward or the way they overhang the Bagman rails.  As far as the latter is concerned, the overhang is probably more exaggerated on larger bags.  The bag shown in the 2nd pic is a Carradice SuperC Barley, which is no longer made.  That particular bag had long straps with quick disconnects and they wrap around the Bagman rail to keep it steady.  Never experienced any side-to-side movement with this setup regardless of the load being carried.

I can't answer any questions about the QR variant because I've never used one.

re the Bagman: 16 mm of rail space is needed. The QR version only varies in that the top piece has an extension to the rear that holds the QR mechanism which takes the place of the saddle loops.
I have both a small BXB and a Zeitgeist and the straps that hold the flap down can be passed out, up and over the Bagman loop which stops the saddle bag from moving. And the bag's seat post strap usually attaches to the Bagman loop where it transitions from vertical to horizontal so that's an additional anchor point.
re the SQR mount: You do have to have about 4" of exposed seat post to attach the "block" that it uses. You can get away with less -- as little as 2" is contacting the seatpost -- but it depends on the top of the seat cluster shape below and the bottom side of the seat post clamp above.

Thanks for the replies , it's helpful !

I don't have quite enough room for the Bagman, darnit. I'm not sure about the SQR, I wish there were more bag choices for it. I may be back to using a Topeak DP/EP bottle/light/bag mount to offset a bikepacking saddle bag. It's longer than it looks, so I may have to chop it some as it goes waaay down on a traditional steel bike that doesn't use a overly long seatpost. The DP is for <27mm posts, the EP for 27.2>.
