WTB: ron's bikes fabs abs

the subject says it all--i'd like to find one of these bags, which may not be so easy to do.  i'd like a neutral color, like brown or olive or navy or something, nothing camo or pink.

Paul — I hope you find the bag you seek. I've had a Fab's Abs and I'd recommend keeping an eye out for the next run of the Fab's Clap Trap. I just got mine, I'm very impressed with the construction and the side pockets. I pair the Abs bag with a Randi Jo stem bag. Opening and closing the Abs while riding is fairly difficult and frustrating. The Clap Trap solves this problem by borrowing the closure mechanism from the Rivendell EZ-PZ bags. The closure can be hooked to the stem and the opening flap of the bag faces the rider making it easy to open/close and access your stuff while riding. The Clap Trap is bigger than the Abs but with the side pockets I won't need a stem bag to go along with it. Ron mentioned this bag will likely replace the Abs and Fanny going forward

Good luck, I"ve been hunting for a fabs chest and there just isn't many being sold.  I think the combination of factory shortages, has caused scarcity as many folks are holding on to them not knowing if they can get another one.   

I feel like the Clap Trap release last week sold out almost instantly and at $200 reflects what these bags will cost now.   I'm a little scared to see how much a fabs chest will cost if they get released again later this year.

eric -- i saw the intimation that the claptrap will replace the smaller bag, which is what inspired my wtb.  i'm not innarested in the claptrap, but glad you're happy with it!

minh -- hope the prices don't increase toooo much!  they were already expensive!!!

If you get a Fabs, I recommend putting a Jack Rack under it, which holds it level and at the right height, instead of that sorta stoved-in look it takes without the rack.
