I stumbled across this Rivendell charity in the online catalogue and when I plugged in a donation and went to my cart to pay, system dunned me $5 for shipping.

I don’t mind adding $5 if it goes to the charity and not elsewhere.

Has anyone dealt with this? How?

Thanks.

I think that's a system issue. Using a fulfillment tool that is predicated on shipping physical items for an item which does not ship.
I would call RBW and have them see if they can change the listing so that does not occur.
They would likely refund your shipping fee. Seems like something no one has noticed before. Simple error.

But, I don't understand why you didn't just change the shipping to "Pickup" which makes the "shipping" charge "Free"

When I did a sample sale/check-out just now, it gave me the option of adding a donation; it did not automatically do it.

Best to call HQ, though, and ask someone who knows more than I do. (That would be anyone who answers
the phone).
