In the age of 8 million e-bikes/e-mountain bikes, anyone have any good recommendations on racks besides OneUp that fit Clem Smith Jr?

Thanks in advance!

I haven’t had my Clem on it yet but my old Susie fit easily on our Alta Rack. Spendy but it is rock solid and should last for life!

They get little to no love on here for reasons I can’t quite understand, but my Kuat NV 2.0 Base works incredibly well with my fendered bikes and my super long Hillibike. No complaints here after thousands and thousands of miles hauling big, heavy bikes.

Another vote for Kuat NV 2.0 which works with Clem and Platypus for us...

Another vote for the Kuat NV 2.0. I've transported both my Clem Smith Jr. (H) and Gus Boots Wilsen with nary a problem. Not to mention it is an excellent option for fendered bikes as well.

Best,
Dave

Looks promising! I think the 64cm Clems might still be too much for the Kuat NV 2.0 :(

It’s possible, but if the wheelbase of a 64cm Clem is no longer than 50”, it will absolutely fit. My 54cm Gus is 50”, and it is the very maximum length the Kuat will hold, as long as you drop the front wheel cradle to the lowest height position.

I bought a Quickr Mach 2 (similar to One Up because the founder broke off and created this new rack) and I love it. No tools. Oh, how I love no tools. I have hauled my son’s 59 Clem L and all my Platypuses. The fender issue means I use a Voile strap to secure the rear wheel to the rack. I wish I didn’t have to do it that way but I chose not to mash the rear fender, even though the website says you can. It’s not cheap but it’s solid and the website is fabulous for any question you might have. Production time used to be 2+ months but it is currently only 2 weeks!
