Hi folks,

I’m selling my 2019 Atlantis I got from Golden Pliers in 2023 as an unbuilt frameset.
I intended for this to be my forever bike, and thought it was, but as I’ve ridden it I have realized I need something with more stand over clearance. I probably should have went with a 52cm Joe, but I really wanted an Atlantis. I love this bike and I’m sad to move it on.
It’s got some beausage, mainly small scratches from locking it up around town. The chain got stuck a few times between the chainstay and the tire, so there’s a few scratches there.
Here are some Photos of the bike, not 100% accurate to the build list but you is largely correct.

I listed this bike on the Radavist for $3300 which in hindsight was a bit aspirational of a price… Because this group has been such great resource to me I’d be willing to get it to a list member for $2850 shipped.
Frame/Fork: 2019 53cm MIT Atlantis: Lawyer lips filed off the fork, dynamo cable routed internally thru vent hole on fork and through the crown, internally coated with fluid film General scratches on the dropouts, outside of NDS chain stay, some chain suck on the inside of the drive side stays, one small paint chip on the top tube by the head tube, light texture on the “a” of the Atlantis decal from rim tape wrapped around the frame to protect from a king cage usb bolt FSA Duron sealed cartridge headset Wheels Rear wheel: deore xt t870 laced 3x to velocity a23 off center rim, butted sapim spokes, brand new freehub body (0 miles on it), taped up for tubeless Front wheel: Shutter precision dynamo, laced 3x to velocity a23 rim, butted sapim spokes, taped up for tubeless, small dent from a rock Tires: subject to change, Matching set of 48mm tires, not pictured, terevail butyl tubes Skewers: xt Drivetrain Front derailer: xtr fd-m900 Rear derailer: XTR rd-m952 Crank: Xtr fc-m900 175mm setup triple (not pictured, polished, got it off this list) Cassette: Xt 8 speed Shifters: Silver 2 on riv silver shifter pods, located on the inside of the bars Bottom bracket: Some nice sealed cartridge Shimano, like a u72 Chain: can’t remember, will check Contact points Pedals: MKS lambda Saddle: Brooks b17 Bars: Heat treated aluminum albatross Seatpost: Suntour xc-pro (26.8) Grips: Lock-on black ergo Controls Stem: Nitto Technomic 26.0 clamp with Nitto 25.4 shim Brake levers: XTR m950 Brakes: XTR M951 v brakes with kool stop inserts (salmon front and rear) Optional extra - Nitto campee 32f front rack, fits the bosses of this bike perfectly but is not compatible with the XTR v brakes. The cable hits the rack. I ran the rack with cane creek direct curve v brakes that has the cable come in a more optimal direction. You could also use canti’s. $80, comes with a wald 137 basket

Hi Roberta,
Yes! My PBH is 83.
I’m right at the low limit for this size, and then I went and put the fattest tires I could in the frame, bigger than the ones that they used when they were measuring standover… I’m 5’9”, and the bike still worked great for everyday riding, but like I said I wanted more clearance for rough trail riding.
Cheers,

Thanks Jaden.

An Atlantis and Cheviot were the first two Riv bikes I tried in 2017 and I fell in love with the Atlantis. I’ve always wanted one but yours would be too big for me.

Because of the price difference, I bought a 2016 51cm Appaloosa and was just tickled riding that for a number of years. My pbh is 82 or 81 and I thought the 51 Appa was just slightly too small.

I think you’ll love the Appa. I can attest it’s a great ride.

@Jaden,

As a suggestion, you might want to place a for sale post on the Facebook page of Rivendell_Bicycles BUY SELL AND TRADE.
