First Bike

My grandson got his first bike for his first birthday.  He spent 45 minutes of joy with it as soon as he laid eyes on it!

He is starting young! At two I got Catie a Radio Flyer, lowrider,
pneumatic tire'd, freewheel tricycle (with parent override steering)
and it wasn't until 4 that she got her first, 16" wheel bike.

(While shopping I used to push her around the aisles of our nearby
Albertson's on the trike; I rather miss that. Later, she'd ride the
16"-wheeler thru the aisles by herself; now I just push my own bikes
thru the aisles in lieu of a shopping cart. My trikes stay outside.)
