FS: 57cm Sam Hillborne frameset

Hi all,

I have an orange Sam Hillborne frame/fork/headset for sale. This is a 57cm from 2009 requiring a 27.2 seat post.

Overall the bike is in great shape. No rust, dents, dings or anything of the sort. Usual wear associated with a bike that gets ridden, but nothing specific to speak of. Pretty nice clearances for larger tires on this model. 90% of the time I’ve owned the bike I ran Compass Snoqualmie Pass tires under SKS P50 fenders.

I have a 91.5 PBH and the saddle height in the photos is 79.5. The bike is still built up, so I provided a few pics of various set-ups over the years. If you’d like to see a closeup of something specific, just reach out off list and I’ll provide as many photos as you need.

I’d like to avoid shipping if possible, and would like to try for a local(ish) sale in Sacramento, CA. But, if we have to ship, we can work that out.

It was already on the bike when I received it a few years back. It’s made of thick leather and I believe it to be from Velo Orange. I could be wrong though. I’ve come close to removing it a few times, but it adds some functional personality to the bike, so I’ve just left it.

i had to do a double take as i sold an orange one like this with an identical leather top tube protector a few weeks ago, but AFAIK my old one is still on the east coast.  

can confirm that mine was from velo orange and this one looks very similar
