The new Varia 820 is heavy. The mount I had on my Bananasax was too flimsy and I worried that expensive cycling gem would fly off and break into a million pieces.
The only other feasible placement is on the seat post. But that means no bag on the saddle loops - it must live on the bars instead.I will do the pics in the next post because Gmail lets me embed them…

Here's my favorite, on Ostrich S-2 bag. I took apart the Cygo seatpost mount, and attached the lamp clip-on frame directly to the bag loops.Opened the M4 pilot hole to M5, and made an M5 stack that tightens against a sleeve I made by drilling out brake-cable ferrules.It's secure, and pivots freely to get into the bag loops.
