Thin nylon but I was happy down to 40*F and even below. Good cut if your legs are not too thick: snug but room enough to pedal without any binding. I found the pockets largely useless, and the pants have all sorts of irrelevant gussets and swooshes and panels, but they don't look horrible and they do work.

Well used, but plenty of life left.
