There's a pic on the Rivendell website of a Bombadil that may be rust, or brown, or maroon, or...my eyes and monitor fail me. Can anyone who's seen this bicycle in person tell me what color it is?

Haven't been there in person, but if I recall correctly, have seen other pictures elsewhere, it was kinda like a root beer....

The install video for the nitto big front has a really pretty Bombadil that could pass for root beer or rust brown or something. Check youtube.

Could be the clear coat over raw steel. I have one like that and it
looks like brown/rust/rootbeer from a few feet away. The steel is
naturally sort of greyish brown with a little glow to it.

It's paint. William's right, it shows up very well in the YouTube video. I'm still not sure what to call it, other than "pretty".
