Looking for some feedback from anyone who owns a Fabio's Chest. Anyone use it with Albatross bars or Jones bar? Saddle mount it?
I have a Jumbo Jammer from Road Runner that I want to supplement with another large bag and be done with using panniers.

I don't own one but have a few friends that do. It's seems to be a well thought out bag. The new X10 fabric is so nice.
The large Fabio is considerably larger than the Jumbo Jammer. I'd consider a small Fab for the rear and run the Jammer up front personally. Hope this helps.

Thanks Will. Another rider I mentioned this to said the same thing. Apparently the large is really big.

John at the Radavist didn’t like the way it worked with the Loop Jones bar.

Couldn't find that review. Just not enough mounting space with the loop?

He doesn’t give much info just in passing. I would reach out to him - he’s responsive when I message him on Instagram on his private account.

Cool thanks. I reached out to the contact page at the Poppi store so hopefully I will get a bit of feedback there as well.

While we are at it, can someone compare a small to a swift zeitgeist large? Would the small be too big for normal daily useage?

There's only 2.5 liters different (8.5/11) between the large and the small Zeitgeist. I'd probably go with the large.

i have the fabios chest large and the swift zeitgeist large. I think this has been established but the fabios chest is significantly more voluminous than the zeitgeist. fwiw i also have a makeshifter outback saddlebag and the attention to detail and quality are amazing. if you have the dough and appreciate the craftswomanship, definitely go makeshifter. it's a bit bigger than the large zeitgeist but probably not as big as the small fabios chest.

I scrolled through the article and all the comments and the only issue I saw even mentioned was a hesitancy to use the Fabio’s Chest pressed up against hydraulic brake lines.

Thanks Adam. I never heard of the Makeshifter but I really like it. Although I will likely miss the Fabios run I need to see what else is out there. Might PM you for more feedback if thats cool.

On the subject of Makeshifter, if you’re ever in PDX they just moved into an actual storefront in conjunction with Golden Pliers bike shop (they’re partners). Great shop, very Riv/Bob oriented and coffee/beer with great bike access. Definitely should be added to any bike tourist Portland agenda.
