Anyone with personal experience or good ideas for an overnight spot? I don't mind a ferry (Edmonds or Seattle departure), or even a multi-modal approach, but I can't come up with anything compelling.

For a non-stealth S24O,  one of my favorites is Manchester State Park.  Fauntleroy ferry to Southworth.
(if it's a "hot" - Seattle standards - day, avoid riding at low tide. Yukon Harbor empties out, and the baking seaweed smell is like a brick wall!)
