Hi, does anyone know if the headset bearings are pressed into the frame on a Riv "unprepped" frame?  The prep service mentions installing the fork and adjusting the headset.  It's unclear on the website.
I don't have a headset bearing press, so that seems like the only reason I'd get the frame prepped.

Thanks!

From the frame page! Looks like they throw in the headset and bb for you.

“If you buy just the frame & fork, it comes with a headset, bottom bracket, and seat post—a cumulative value of about $120. Most frame/forksets you buy don't include that stuff.”

I recently built up one of their "unprepped" frames.

The headset cups are installed, but you'll need to insert the cartridge bearings and seals (no tools needed) on them and then install the threaded fork and nut (wrench needed).

BB is already installed, but i'd pop it out, grease the threads and re-install.

You'll also have to attach the headbadge yourself, don't forget it if you plan to pick up the frame!

Good Luck!
