BIke Photo Mural - Completed!

The photo collage for the newly renovated bike room at the Main branch of the San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) was installed just a few days ago. I want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone from this group who submitted pics to me at the beginning of the year. Except for one or two people, everyone who contributed has at least one image in the artwork. All the photos in the collage come from either members of this group, SFPL staff, or Rivendell staff.

Our in-house designer arranged the images chromatically - they move along the color spectrum form orange to brown, blue, gray, and green. The effect is wonderful.

Renovating the bike room and adding the mural has been a great project. Here are pics of the mural. I have also included a couple shots of the racks, including those painted as the UCI champion stripes.

Fantastic Andy!

Sorry I missed the opportunity to contribute to the mural. I would love to see something similar in the two large bike rooms in City Hall where I am.
