I have a 2004 Rivendell Romulus I am going to sell.  All original equipment except I had to change a bar end shifter - it fell apart.

i've disassembled and de-rusted it twice, then powder coated it.   I lost the badges in the process. I re-assembled it myself.

I had it tuned up by a pro mechanic recently and, more recently, put a new chain on it and waxed it and put on 30 mm Pirelli Tires.

It shifts, brakes and handles quite well.

I put on a reverse return derailleur to match the one I had to put on my Surly Long Haul Trucker with bar end shifters. Having one bike with a regular derailleur and the other with a reverse return will mess you up. You have to move the bar end shifter in opposite directions!

I want it to have a good home, someone who will appreciates its fine qualities.  My fear is that someone will just see it as a 22 year old steel frame road bike.

Any advice on which buy/sell forums to list it, somewhere it may attract the interest of someone who will appreciate it?
Also, any advice on price would be welcome.

I recommend posting pics here so we can evaluate it. My personal opinion is the value drops significantly sans original paint and headbadge.

I’d put this in the category of Schrödinger’s Vintage Bike — simultaneously a priceless classic and an obsolete relic, with the state determined entirely by whether one is the buyer or the seller. Clem completes last sold for $2400, and I think those are better bikes in pretty much every way, so applying the Bill Lindsay rule (which I 95% agree with) I’d say that the absolute upper bound for a Romulus would be $1200 for a pristine specimen.
