Sam and 48 mm Oracle Ridge

In the not too distant past someone had posted images showing 48 mm Oracle Ridge tires fitting a Sam (the version with the black paint and creme highlights), wondering if said person might be able to report how well they fit? 

I'm interested in moving from my 43 mm Rock n' Roads to something a little more stable on the steep loose gravel roads in Vermont.

That may have been me.  I mounted a pair of them on Velocity Dyad rims.  My Sam is equipped with sidepulls (Tektro R559).  The clearance was OK but if I remember I had to let some air out go get them past the brake pads.  I don't have much to report as I only rode them for about 10 miles and decided to go back to the Snoqualmie Pass tire as I mainly ride paved roads.   I'm actually getting ready to list them for sale on this site.

Wonder how clearance would be affected mounted onto Cliffhangers that are about 7.5 mm wider?

It's not.  I searched but could not find a picture taken when the tires were mounted.  Doesn't look like I had posted a picture to the group.

I have three photos of a Sam with Oracle Ridge tires that I saved from one of the several Riv groups I follow.  Only one might be of any help but it might help track down the owner on one of the Facebook groups.

Hey all,

Black and cream is mine. I can't report on how these tires fit on a slightly wider rim, but will say that the clearance is totally fine on Dyads, with a few mm of clearance everywhere. Tightest points are fork crown and chainstays. Still running this setup about a year later.
