WTB Choco-moose

Even though I'm going to give my Ron's Ortho bars another shot on my Hunq with a longer stem, I really want to try out the Choco-moose bars. Anybody have a set they want to let go of? Preferably in the NY/NJ area so we don't have to deal with shipping, which I assume will be a bear...

I had Choco-moose on a Simple One and really like them. Rivendell may have them in stock even though they aren't on the website. They did when I bought mine.

Thanks, Doug and Eric. I've seen them on the Rivendell site, and may end up going that way, but would love to buy a used pair, if anyone has `em collecting dust!

The first problem is they're insanely expensive to ship for private sellers and you would already have a local deal if there was one out there. The second problem is I see no sign of Riv doing more of these (see: shipping issue) so this is probably your (or anyone's) best bet for owning a Choco-Moose.

Blue Lug has some and even though its shipping from Japan its still a touch cheaper than Rivendell

I LOVED them on my Joe Appaloosa.

If I needed to buy these new, I’d get them from Riv to support them during these lean times.

Lean times allover could free up my choco-mooses. They're great on my Clem, but it's currently wearing moosey-mooses. What say $180, pickupable in North Brooklyn or the UWS, or anywhere in between (midway of the GW?)
