Toe overlap on newer models with 700 wheels

Can anyone tell me if they have toe overlap on their Sam Hillborne or Appaloosa? I would think it would be less likely on the Appaloosa with the longer top tube and extra 2 degrees on the head tube. I would almost certainly be using fenders.

I have a bit of overlap on my 54cm 2025 Sam. I doubt I’ll run fenders on it as a result. But I’ve always had it on any 700c bike I’ve ever owned.

Using the Riv geometry chart you can use an existing bike you own to get a good idea how much front-center distance you would need with a given tire/fender combo for a particular frame. Top tube length alone doesn't mean anything by itself, as the front-center distance takes into account BB height, fork rake and head tube angle. Front-center distance if you aren't familiar is the distance from the center BB to the center front dropout. Use a good tape measure. This distance plus your foot position(and shoes you wear) on a given crank arm and pedal will tell you how much room you'll have for your toes.

I have a 2025 60cm Sam Hillborne. I’m running Velo Orange smooth fenders and 700x44mm tires. No toe overlap for me, surprisingly. 170mm crank arms and size 11.5 shoes.

I have a 2024 57cm Appaloosa.  With 48mm tires, fenders, and size 10.5 shoes, when the crank is in the forward-most position, there is at least 4" of clearance between my toe and the fender.  No toe overlap whatsoever.  Now, I can say there is "knee overlap". I have Chocomoose bars with bar end shifters and if I wanted to hit the shifters with my knee on a tight turn, I could. But I've just learned to keep the knees in, or out, of the way when turning. It's completely intuitive by now.
