Selling what I believe is a Rivendell trunksack, size small. "Believe" because, while it sure looks like a Riv bag, including the brass fittings , "D: loops, nice YKK zipper, reflective stripes, and leather trim, it doesn't have a label anywhere. Also, I haven't seen this grey checked canvas before.  I picked this up locally a while ago, polished the hardware and conditioned the leather, but it's not a good match for any of my bikes.

There are no holes or rips in the canvas, though it does show wear and areas of minor discoloration. The brass hardware is shiny. The reflective stripes have numerous scrapes and scratches. The leather zipper covers are clean and in good shape, but curl up on one corner. The leather bits that attach to the rack have some marks but you would never see those once the bag is mounted. Due to the soft canvas, the bag squishes up a bit when empty. I recommend filling it with a large sandwich,  plush toys, or a selection of teacup gerbils.

This is a cool but scruffy little bag, and priced accordingly. But I'm sure there is someone out there who will get better use out of it than me.

$40 shipped in USA. Or pick up locally from Marina Del Rey 90292.

I'll be second in line behind Joe, if for some reason it doesn't pan out.
I swear, buying anything on this forum requires a hair trigger, or the patience of an angel, or both.

These bags are super useful; I've got a small and a medium and love them.

Is the baby skunk included???

I have a Riv handlebar bag with this exact pattern. It's about 12 to 15 years old.

Just wanted to add re. 'Due to the soft canvas, the bag squishes up a bit when empty" that I stiffened mine up using corrugated plastic sheets from some old campaign signboards.  Keeps it's shape nicely.  Be sure to cut to fit tightly.

HI all, I''ll respond to PM's in order received. Looks like sale is pending. But if that falls through, it's Joe, then Matthias. Sorry skunk not included. For those interested in a skunk of your very own, She's the fake fur version of a Magic Spring Animal, seemingly coming alive with a little practice manipulating the spring comprising her innards (she is not, in fact, filled with fluff).
