This year for M18 I would like to take the following approach to projects:
- We divide the students into groups of 5.
- Each Group is given one product category to work with through the entire year
- All subject-specific project work can be aligned to this product category.
- Projects that the class will undertake:
- STP in Marketing Management
- MIS graphs and charts
- Research paper, hypothesis
- Social Media strategy
- Perspective Management - Stram concepts - Porter's Five Forces, Value Chain analysis, Competitive strategies, etc.
- FA - financial accounting analysis
- AFS - analysis of financial statements
- The product categories I propose (and we can review and debate). We need to keep in mind that the product categories have companies which are listed on the stock market
- Oral health care
- Automobiles
- Smartphones
- Consumer electronics
- Tyre industry
- Plastic products(Nilkamal)
- Textiles processing
- Travel agencies (Cox and Kings, Thomas Cook)
- Dry Cells
- Cigarettes
- Breweries and Distilleries
- Ceramic tiles
Please prepare a Detailed Project plan for your subject area, and which would be the best suited product categories for your subject area. Then we can look at shorlisting the list to 7 product categories.
