Staff Selection Commission popularly known as SSC is an Indian organization to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Govt. of India and in Subordinate Offices.
Post Name: - Indian Army (women only)
Location: - Delhi
Educational Qualification: - Candidates who wish to apply for this post must poses the following skill and criteria: Passed Engineering Degree or appeared in the final year examination of Engineering course. The candidates appearing] in the final year examination of Degree Course should be able to produce the Engineering Degree within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at OTA. Such candidates will be inducted for on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at OTA as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite Degree Certificate.

Qualification: Graduation in any discipline.
Age Limit: - Interested candidates who are appearing for this post should be:
i) SSC (Tech)-17 Women: 20 to 27 years at the time of commencement of course. Born between 02 Apr 89 and 01 Apr 96 (both dates inclusive).
ii) For widows of Defense Personnel with four years age relaxation
SSCW (Non Tech): 19 to 29 Years. Born not earlier than 02 Jan 87 and not later than 01 Jan 97 (Both dates inclusive).
Salary: - Interested candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. (Rs 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-.
Training: Duration of training is 49 weeks:
a) Selected candidates will be detailed for training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai according to their position in the final order of merit up to the number of vacancies available in each subject.
b) Candidates neither be allowed to marry during the period of training nor he be allowed to live with parents/Guardians. A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the government. A candidate, who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful, will not be selected for training.
Selection procedure:
a) Short listing of Applications. Integrated HQ of MoD(Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cutoff percentage of marks without assigning any reason
b) Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cutoff percentage will be interviewed at Selection Centres, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP) and Bangalore (Karnataka) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer
c) Candidates will put through two stage selection procedure.
