Dear Rainbow Bridgers,

"Reading" has become increasingly popular in recent years. I have a very good friend who really read a lot, the subjects span history, business, literature and so on. He is Wang Shun, our talented VPE. He will serve as the table topics master in the meeting tomorrow. He told me, "How about we talk about reading?"  "Great!" I replied. This topic is also what really interests me a lot. I will also serve as the table topic evaluator, kind of busy, right? It does not matter. It is life.

 

For almost everyone, "Procrastination" is a real issue to address, just for different degrees. This is a puzzle that we can not get around. It is so pervasive, so important but so neglected by us. In the prepared speech session, Li Hui will embark on her speech journey, starting with a speech titled "Procrastination". Helen Liu will be her evaluator.

Helen Zhao, a widely respected HR professional, will present her CC7 speech, "Are You Anxious About Your Future?". I believe that everyone is anxious, almost with no exception. Let's sit down and listen to her valuable perspective. Maybe it will help tremendously. She will receive an evaluation by our club president, Tony Xian.

 

Our VPE Wang Shun will take a holistic review of the entire meeting, and give his insights into what is working and what does not work. His team members are: Timer Susan, Ah-counter Jack,Wordsmith Katherine. Timer, Ah-counter and Wordsmith serve a critical role to make sure the meeting is on track and to make sure you get rid of some bad habits in your speech.It is a really valuable feedback. Feedback is essential !  

Last but not least, we have a new member to join us this time. We will have initiation rites hosted by Teri, our vice president of membership. Wow, this session is exciting, everytime!!

I encourage everyone to join toastmaster meeting, stand on the stage, face up to challenges. It is not only a practice of speech skill, it is also a practice of inner heart, a better "Myself". Come!
