Hi all,

Due to this group and many other people who have been notifying us of
issuing it is with great pleasure that we are making the RC2 of Razuna
1.4.6 available to you today.

Since RC1, due to the help of all of you, we have added over 40 issues
to 1.4.6, making it a total of 70 issues in this release alone. Best
of all, we not only fixed things, but also got some new goodies for
you to enjoy. These are;

New Search option
We completely refactored how the search works. Now, we not only index
the whole asset (just like before), but will be able to offer you a
detailed search for each and every single metadata field. We have also
re-designed the header layout slightly, so that the search is more
prominent. Also the advanced search features now all metadata fields
and the result page has a intuitive search panel on the right side to
narrow the search even further.

Database & Asset Cleaner
Under the maintenance tab you will now also find a new utility called
"Database & Asset Cleaner". With it we will automatically scan your
records in the database and give you a report of assets that are not
assigned to any folder or even scan the file system for you, so you
can identify if there are any records missing.

Uploading Tool
We have seen that not all browsers work properly with our HTML5
uploading tool. Especially, Windows users sometimes get time out with
HTML5 uploading. Also, the nature of HTML5 will read your file into
the memory and then send it to the Razuna server. Thus we have changed
our uploading tool slightly, where the upload tool will now load in
Flash for Windows users by default. The same applies for Apple Safari
browsers, since the latest versions seam to have massive problems with
HTML5 as well. But don't worry, we have not removed HTML5. We simply
added the option to switch the upload engine on your own, as well.
