Dear People,
There will be a game this Sunday at 11, and as of now, there is one slot left. One!
Now look, I know what you’re thinking; You’re thinking “Ray, where the fuck are we playing?!,” and in all fairness, that’s a harsh but reasonable question. The problem is I still haven’t had time to scout out the various options, and moreover, as best I can tell from the one Berkeley Parks and Wreck employee that I was able to touch base with on Wednesday, none of the Berkeley fields have been fenced off yet despite the fact that the city has been telling me since October that they would be this week.
This means that that we may still get another game in at Codornices, though I’m not going to give the final go-ahead until tomorrow afternoon (Saturday), after verifying that it’s still glorious and free and unencumbered by the abuses of Big Fence (I’ll also be checking out the field conditions of Bushrod and Golden Gate in North Oakland, since we’ll soon enough be playing at one of them). SO, check email late tomorrow, and try to stay calm and grounded despite the soul-crushing lack of cognizance.
Yeah, fearlessitudity . . . Raymond
