There will be a game at Codornices this Sunday at 11, and as of now there is one slot left. One!

 

Please bring $5 for the field, which, for this week only, includes my long-awaited post-match symposium on the curious appeal of having a robust composite blend of the following seven personality types:

The Minister Jim Jones

A pathetic 11 year old schoolyard bully

A sanity-crushing 2 month old colicky baby

PS: Some of you have noted that the start times for these games has gradually been slipping ever later, such that our 11AM matches that used to start at 11:15ish have occasionally been starting as late as 11:30ish, which means that if this trend were not arrested by 2027, the opening pitch would be occurring around 1AM Monday. 

 

SO, in hopes of taking the bull by the temporal balls, I’d like to gently suggest that we try to push the start time back closer to 11:15ish. This means that if you’re determined to get in some batting practice, you should consider getting to the park by 10:45, since that’s often when the first pitchers start to hurl (no ghastly imagery intended).
