Dear People,
After scouting out both Bushrod Field and Golden Gate Playground, Jerry S and I concurred that we should meet at GGP (at San Pablo and 62nd) since even though Bushrod #1 is ideal, it’s very likely to be taken, while Bushrod #2 is still unplayable without a good hour or so of hydraulic engineering. On the other hand, GGP is suddenly odor-free, much dryer, and in considerably better shape than other times we’ve played there, though admittedly, the grass is overgrown and there's still a 10 square yard patch in shallow center field that is a mushy municipal disgrace. Onward despite it all!
Remember to set your clocks forward, see you at 11 at GGP (10:30ish for batting practice, with those who get there first deciding which of the two fields would be best for playing), and as of now, we could still use one spontaneous national hero to make a perfect 20 players. So, why the F not you?! . . . Raymond 510-845-7552 /cell 510-677-9960
